Drive to Birdsville

This RoadTrip was by far the longest I’ve done solo. I drove around 5000 kilometers in some of the most remote tracks in Australia. The sheer size of the Simpson Desert is hard to describe. Driving for a day without seeing a single other human being is both an amazing but challenging experience. My car was fit for the challenge and despite being bogged down when a thunderstorm flooded the road, it didn’t have a single problem. The landscapes were mesmerising and allowed for incredible photography. Sunrise and sunsets were also pretty special, especially when waking up in the tent.
